Earith Parish Council want to let you know that there should be a delivery of five tonnes of free compost at the Colne Road Allotment site sometime next week. I am not sure when, but it is likely to be Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday.
The compost is coming from Huntingdon District Council and because it is free the Parish Council is not being given very much leeway with delivery times.
The compost can be collected from the allotment site, but you will need to bring your own shovel and bags. Please be mindful of the working plots and please do not take more than you can use. It will be situated at the end of the pathway leading from the metal gate roughly in the centre of the site along Colne Road.
The “what three words” address is buggy.plotted.distilled and this pin points the destination so that you can find the free compost. All other items at the site belong to plot tenants so please do not attempt to take anything other than compost. The manure and bark chippings are only for the plot tenants.
I will try to keep you as updated as possible. Watch this space….
